We are so excited to add a little one to our family! Mike is the poster boy for elation and I vacillate between joy and nerves pretty regularly. I have felt generally healthy, although I am glad school is over and I don't have to get up quite so early and manage a queasy stomach in front of a class of students. I'm sure they all thought I was acting a bit odd, hovering by the trash can and sitting at any possible moment (not to mention the split personality that, even though I try to deny it, seems to have emerged). We expect the little one some time in early January.

Congratulations! My husband and I are expecting too. Due date is early November. The queasy time was the worst because we weren't telling people yet, but I'm sure they could tell that I seemed to be pretty permanently under the weather... So exciting!
