Weekend in Seattle

We had a delightful weekend in Seattle. It was fabulous weather and we had a great time eating delicous foods, walking the streets, shopping, visiting art museums, and taking a harbor tour.

I Heart Sunshine

I am crazy about Portland and all its moody weather but when the sun comes out few things feel better than catching a few rays doing something new. Today we headed south to Woodburn and, after hours of surprising tulip traffic, explored the Tulip Farm Festival. After that we went to Silver Creek Falls and during a 2 hour hike we passed 7 waterfalls. The best were the ones you could walk under. Love the sun and spending all day playing with Mike!

MBAs and Megans

In the way of good news this month . . .

Mike got in to a selective MBA program at Portland State University. I will be sad to lose him for those few nights each week but I am really excited for this step. He is so smart and is bound to do amazing things with everything he is becoming.

And Megan came home from her mission in Panama. Missions are wonderful experiences but I am so glad she is home. I love this picture because I have no idea what she is wearing on her head or doing with her hands - but now I get to ask her - on the phone - any time I want! Yeah, for having all three sisters back in my life!

New months and new colors

I love the start of a new month. And doesn't April seem especially delicious to start fresh? Our living room got a fresh look this week. Red!
