Miss Sunday

Lucy is the queen of Sundays. People just love a fluffy dress and when you add a little frankenstein running , disheveled hair, and plenty of loud yet happy trills you get a pretty solid group of admirers. I love it as much as Lucy; it reminds me to see the cute and not focus on the crazy that sometimes is. That said, while today did indeed include a cute dress it also included eating an entire piece of chalk during relief society and eating her way through the toole layer of her dress to get to her flower petals on the drive.

Side note: grandmas get ready for the best moment of your lives. Lucy now puts her arms around necks and squeezes for a hug. It is the best feeling ever. Ever.

I simply cannot wait for one of those hugs. What a blessing to have such a little one so full of life in our lives. The pictures and the captions help keep her close. Thank you for that.

Lucy is such a doll! I LOVE the last picture! Those are the best hugs. Laurie gives them all the time and it melts my heart! You can tell Lucy loves her mommy!

Great picture of you and Lucy, Jen! So beautiful! Not to get mushy online, but I LOVE LOVE having you, Mike, and Lucy so close! Thank you so much for letting me babysit and for listening to all my single, Mormon woes :)

Classic! Lucy is in good company- Eliza would gladly eat chalk with her and only wishes she had a fluffy dress to chew on herself. She'll have to be content with metal chairs and the last ward's cheerios at church.
