First Dentist Visit

Lucy started getting teeth pretty early and, squirmy as she is, we wanted to be sure we were doing an okay job at brushing her teeth. Thus, the dentist. Lucy love the office and all the gadgets. She loved the dentist. But she did not love being forced to lie down. So, while somewhat traumatic, I would categorize it as an overall good experience.

Cute pictures of the first dental visit. I loved taking pictures of my 5 year old sons first visit too. My daughter is 2 year old and I think her first visit will be very soon. I love how little they look in those chairs. I wanted to pass on this Mom's Guide to you. It is about how to care for kids teeth better and even make it fun. I hope you enjoy it. http://www.1dental.com/moms-guide/

I am so glad I came across your post. I have been wanting to take my son to the dentist to get him accustom to it now instead of fighting it later but everyone keeps telling me he is way to young. Your daughter is absolutely adorable, kudos on getting pictures of the first dentist visit!

Lucy is such a wonderful baby! It's normal for babies to get uncomfortable when they are forced to lie down in places that they are unfamiliar with. But I'm glad to see how she had a great time, despite all those little things. I wonder what my son's would be if I take him to the dentist this weekend. Wish me luck!

Well, it's her first time. So it's really not surprising to see that she acted that way. But maybe it'll be different when she visits the dentist next time.

There’s always a first time and it’s normal for kids to feel uneasy in places they’re not familiar with. It looks like everything ended well. By the way, how’s her teeth?
